Shopping with your credit card with Notice is guaranteed to be safe and secure.
We take extensive steps to process all internet transactions securely and safely.
The software we use sets the industry standard for securing credit card transactions
over the internet. Every credit card that is processed is run through an address
verification process to verify that the card is registered to the billing address on the order.
You credit card charge may say “The Custom Framer” because that is the name
of our parent company.
All of the information we gather from our customers is only to make your shopping
experience easier. We will never share your information with anyone on the
internet or in our stores.
Whether purchasing something in or stores or online we want you to be happy. You may
return anything within 10 days of receipt of purchase. You will be refunded minus a $6.95 restocking fee;
as long as all tags are in place and item is in resalable condition. Customer is responsible for return postage,
and we do not refund shipping charges (if there were any).
If a returned item does not meet the above requirements it will be sent back to the customer.
Personal care items are not returnable (lotions,soaps etc)
Items on sale are final sale.
If you prefer to return the item to on one of our stores you will be issued a store credit without the restocking fee.

Ordering Over the Phone
If you want to talk to a real person, please call any of our stores. You can place your
order over the phone or just learn more information about a product. You may even
place an order for an item and pick it up in a store near you.
We accept payment with all major credit cards, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and
American Express. We’re considering paypall, so let us know if you prefer that method.
We will charge sales tax to anyone living in or shipping packages to Illinois; because by law we have to.
Confirmation of Order
When you place an order with us, you will get an e-mail response that we have received
your order. Sometimes this may go to junk mail, so please check there if you don’t
see a confirmation. We only ship complete orders, so if some item is out of stock,
we will send you an e-mail so you may decide whether to wait or not.
We love the post office, so much of what we ship is by USPS. We also use UPS for larger
items or if you need it really fast. You can see we offer free shipping.
We try to ship everything as quickly as possible. Orders are processed within 24-48 hours
from the time it was placed. We do not ship incomplete orders.
If you live in Canada we will happily send you anything your heart
desires, but we will have to charge you a bit more for shipping.
Out of Stock
We try really hard to keep all of our stuff online in stock, but sometimes an item is just
too awesome and we can’t. If something you order is out of stock we will e-mail you
upon receipt of your order and try to give you a date when it is due back in. At that point
you can decide whether to wait for it or delete it if there are multiple items in your order.
Undeliverable Shipments/Refused Packages
When using UPS they will make three attempts to deliver your package and then return it to us.
If it is returned we will not reimburse you for shipping costs. If you would like it reshipped,
that is at your expense too. The same applies to all refused packages, along with a 20%
surcharge applied to your account, before issuing any credit.
Damaged, Missing, Incorrect items
All items are inspected before they leave us, but we know stuff happens! If your package is
damaged or something is missing you must let us know within 7 days. We will give you
instructions on what to do, sometimes asking for a photo of the items. We will send you a UPS
return tag when appropriate. If you need a replacement, we will send it as soon as the damaged
goods get back to us. Send us an e-mail at email@example.com with subject line
”damaged item”, if this happens to you. That is where you will send the digital photo to as well.
Buying a Gift for Someone
If you want the recipient to have the fun of picking out their own gift, or if they live near one of
our stores; buy them a gift certificate. You can purchase a gift certificate in any denomination.
We will put the certificate in a cute box and send it to them.
We happily will gift wrap anything bought on our website. Just tell us who it’s for and we will
use one of our adorable year round or seasonal gift wraps. At Notice everything we sell can be
gift wrapped for free.

We are a family business, not a chain store. We are located in Illinois, in Barrington, Chicago and Evanston
Our philosophy is that fashion constantly moves forward, and so should we. We work hard to bring
contemporary, fashion forward clothing and accessories to our website and our stores. If you have seen
